We will take a playful journey with watercolour, crayons, inks (and anything else you may have squirreled away!)
Exploring composition, pattern, and tone to determine what we like (and don’t!). Working freely and loosely using a grid method as a starting point.
This is a great way of becoming aware of what appeals to us in a picture – which in turn – helps us to create appealing pictures.
Materials
As well as your usual watercolour kit you will need some large sheets of watercolour paper, a rigid board big enough to tape the paper on to, and plenty of masking tape to create the grid.
Shari will bring some water-soluble crayons, pens and inks.
