Discover the beautiful art of creating expressive paper figures using wire armatures and reclaimed papers transformed through the Momigami technique.
Using recycled papers, magazines, decorative papers, tissue, maps, book pages, handmade textures annd reclaimed beads, participants will learn how to manipulate paper into a soft, fabric-like material before sculpting elegant figures full of movement and personality.
Inspired by cultural costume, storytelling and textile traditions from around the world, each participant will create a unique sculptural figure to take home.
No experience needed — this is a playful, exploratory workshop focused on creativity, texture and imagination.
