Exploratory Life Drawing

Three Inspiring Evening Sessions

Step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in three creative evenings exploring the human figure through observation, play and experimentation.

This is not about producing the perfect drawing. It is about slowing down, looking differently and discovering new ways to respond through line, mark, colour and texture. Working with two professional life models over the course, we will explore a variety of creative approaches, from expressive quick sketches, the capturing of movement, to longer studies using a range of drawing and mixed media techniques.

You’ll be encouraged to experiment with different materials, embrace happy accidents and develop your own personal style in a relaxed, supportive environment. With a maximum of just eight participants, there’s plenty of individual guidance and space to enjoy the process at your own pace.

All materials and equipment are provided, so simply come along and enjoy an evening of creativity. If you would prefer to work at an easel, you’re very welcome to bring your own—please contact us in advance, as easels are not provided and we may need t adjust the space accordingly.

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike.

Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your observational skills or simply enjoy a mindful evening of creativity, these sessions offer the perfect opportunity to reconnect with drawing in a fresh and inspiring way.
