Description
This introductory course into stencil printing will teach you how to create beautiful botanical patterns on both fabric and paper, with the day’s main activity decorating a cushion cover.
Working with Melanie’s own stencil designs inspired by wild flowers and the countryside, the workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those who may have used stencils before.
With demonstrations, plenty of practice time to build your confidence, plus suggestions for composition and the layout of your botanical design, the day will offer inspiring creativity and enjoyable relaxation.
You will gain heaps of knowledge, techniques and tips for successful printing onto cotton, paper and even wood…the opportunities for projects are endless!
All materials supplied on the day.
In addition, you will take home the Cow Parsley stencil and brush to continue with the mindful printing process at home.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
