Description
During this workshop we will look at the different ‘families’ of stitches and how those stitches work together. We will do this by experimenting with stitches and using these experiments to work on a freeform sampler. Your work can be used as reference, adapted for a practical use or as a design piece in its own right.
You will be given guidance on:
materials
how to form the stitches
design
colour
equipment
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience. If you have a sewing kit please bring it with you. All basic materials will be provided.
